Week Ahead: Embracing Saturn's Limitations
Saturn and Uranus team up against Mercury and Mars
Last week, Mars moved into Scorpio, we experienced a new moon in Scorpio, Venus moved into Capricorn, Mercury moved into Scorpio. If you’ve been feeling like there’s been a shift in the air, that might be why.
This week is less turbulent, but still a bit bumpy. While we won’t be experiencing any planets switching signs (with the exception of the moon) until the sun moves into Sagittarius on the 21st, planets will be in conflict with each other. Use this time to get comfortable with change.
Saturn in Aquarius and Uranus in Taurus both have it out for us. Saturn will create limitations for both Mercury and Mars in Scorpio, and Uranus will force Mercury to be quick on its feet. Lots to overcome this week, but that’s what the sign of Scorpio is all about.
Here’s a more in-depth look:
Nov. 10th:
Mercury in Scorpio conjuncts Mars in Scorpio: This is the perfect time to communicate your desires, and come up with an action plan to make them happen. Speak your desires into existence.
Mercury in Scorpio squares Saturn in Aquarius: Right after you speak your desires into existence, Saturn reminds you to be realistic. Break big goals into smaller, more attainable goals.
Mars in Scorpio squares Saturn in Aquarius: Saturn reminds you that you can’t have what you want unless you work for it. Get to work.
Nov. 12th:
Sun in Scorpio trines Neptune in Pisces: Let creativity, and your emotions flow. You’ll be surprised at what you’re able to create once you channel your ideas and feelings into something meaningful.
Nov. 13th:
Mercury in Scorpio opposes Uranus in Taurus: Expect a new breakthrough, new perspective, or an opportunity for change. It’s time to leave old ideas behind.
Your Horoscope
This week’s lesson: Conflict will show you where there’s room for change. Be ready to make small adjustments that help you mediate conflict.
Horoscopes can be applied to your sun, moon and rising signs. As with all horoscopes, take what you need and leave what you don’t.
You have all the tools you need to deal with the barriers you face. In order to unlock these tools, you must be flexible with the ways you deal with the obstacles you face. New problems require different solutions.
This week, you’re your biggest obstacle. Letting self-doubt and insecurity guide your decisions only makes your situation worse. Don’t be afraid to assert yourself.
It’s time to get reconnected with your sources of joy. The obstacles you face may be extremely draining. However, being connected with sources of joy helps you recharge your batteries.
Avoiding the obstacles you face is the wrong solution to your problems. Instead, when you feel like you’re unable to find a solution, try a new tactic. Tough problems call for creative solutions.
You encounter the same problems because you’ve yet to change as a person. Use this time to think deeper about your personal coping mechanisms and tactics you use to deal with conflict.
Give yourself the time you need to process the situations you face in their entirety. Jumping to a conclusions or trying to solve a situation too soon will hurt you in the long run.
Being content is the easy way out of problems and situations. Express your true feelings and desires rather than simply accepting the situation as it is.
Stop letting your perceived weaknesses prevent you from doing what’s important to you. Instead, tap into your strengths and build upon them. You’re so much more than your weaknesses.
Mentally, you’re ready to move on from situations that no longer serve you. At the moment, you’re being challenged to apply this knowledge to your daily life. When you encounter roadblocks reminiscent of the past, remember that already know the solution.
Change, and growth are extemely slow moving processes. When you encounter obstacles, trust that you don’t have to have the solution right away. The answers you're looking for will come when you need them.
Being fixed on specific outcomes will only hurt you in the past. Surrender your attachment to outcomes and enjoy what you’re doing at the moment. Before you know it, the outcome that is meant for you will come to you.
Make do with the resources you have at the moment. Being too focused on what you lack, will prevent you from being able to overcome the obstacles you face at the moment.
